On our second day of our visit to New York, we decided to enjoy Central Park by renting bikes and peddle our way around the park while doing some caches.
This second cache was nicely situated next to a pond and a lovely arching bridge. It took a while before the cache was found but in the end it was actually at a very logical spot.

On our second day of our visit to New York, we decided to enjoy Central Park by renting bikes and peddle our way around the park while doing some caches. The weather was fabulous and the park was packed with people walking for a good cause; pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness.
This third cache was in a nice area with a playground and a pond with miniature sailing boats. Stealth mode required as Alice in Wonderland is a popular place for taking pictures.

The second virtual for the day. The famous museum where we had to admire and count the stone faces. That proved to be a bit confusing as there a more ways of counting them. Once we had all the figures we needed, we returned back to the park to continue our tour. Answers have been emailed to the cache owner.

This cache took a bit to find, as we were hindered by many muggles in this area. But in the end we were successfull. On to the next cache in this gorgeous park.

A nice section of the Central Park, not too busy on this beautiful day so we could spend some time searching the area. Good to have a letterbox hybrid cache. There are not too many around of that type.

Not a big lawn on the top of a hill, but a small cottage marks the highest point.

A very nice cache, but we had some trouble logging for the damp logpaper.

A very nice hiding place for this cache. As we did not want to leave our bikes unlocked and unattended we had to drag them down the stairs, and later on obviously drag them back up. But definitely worth it.

A short descent along the rocks brought us to the cache. Unfortunately not a million dollars in the cache; perhaps that was reserved for the FTF .

As we were ending our tour of the Park, the was the big finale. Absolutely gorgeous place which we would not have found if not for your cache. We spend quite a while at this spot, not only waiting for muggles to leave, but also to relax on the rocks enjoying the warm afternoon sun. Little did we know that only a week later snow would be falling in NYC.
Abosultely our favourite cache in NewYork, so awarding it as such. Thank you for bringing us here!

After being fulle relaxed from our Lakeside View visit we visited the remaining traditionals in this park. This was an easy find, carefully timed grabbing to prevent muggles to see what I was doing.

The weather was fabulous and the park was packed with people walking for a good cause; pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness. After Central Park we headed off to the park along the river for a few of the caches. We cycled onto the finger but halfware we were requested to dismount and continue to walk. So we did, and we walked the last 100 feet to the cache.
Quickly found and after snapping a picture we moved on to the nearby sidewalk cafe for a well deserved hot dog and drinks.

After a hotdog and a drink near 'A Finger in the Hudson', we cycled passed the Choo Choo cache. My son is a train lover so he was thrilled to climb onto this locomotive.
